Yoga: Welcome

To me, yoga is not only a physical expression but also an energetic one. As an individual who has allowed outside forces to dictate my health, well-being, and happiness for a significant portion of my life, yoga has provided me the opportunity to take back control through breath, introspection, and centeredness, relinquishing aspects of my life that no longer serve me. This has been a long, arduous process that would not have been possible without the support of my yoga community. Therefore, a central motif in my class is this cultivation of prana, focus, openness, and acceptance, whether in a high-intensity vinyasa or low-impact deep stretch. Know that I'll always meet you at your level. I firmly believe that all poses are possible with the right support whether it is physical (blocks, strap, wall, etc.), emotional, mental, or spiritual.

My yoga practice is a reflective energy I develop internally, which in turn radiates outward to every soul I interact with. I'm excited to see you on your mat, and I invite you to join me on this yoga journey!

SCHEDULE

Tuesdays at 7:00 AM at Total Being Yoga

VINYASA

Vinyasa is a moderately paced flow-style practice focusing on strength, balance, and flexibility. Most classes begin with a centering practice followed by a warmup. Flows are fun, creative, and accessible for all levels, especially due to the significant emphasis on using props throughout my class for both attainability and intensity. I can't wait to share a practice with you!

1st and 3rd Saturdays of the Month at 8:00 AM at Total Being Yoga

POWER FLOW

Power flow is a moderately paced flow with a great emphasis on physical and mental strength building. Developed with the intermediate practitioner in mind, I offer creative combinations of poses to stimulate being aware and present in the moment. Some longer holds in poses may challenge your body, mind, and spirit, but always remember to keep an open heart and give yourself some grace. Everything is accessible with the proper support!
